Wisdom teeth extraction went well but their communication is awful especially when it came to medications. I had my consultation a week before surgery and they asked what medications I was on but neglected to tell me if I was allowed to take them before/after surgery. I didn’t think to ask them until 2 days before the extraction but I shouldn’t have had to ask them. I decided to not take my ADHD medication even though I was told I was fine to take it. However, they also told me I was good to take my anxiety medication (hydroxyzine) which has sedating effects— I believe they said to wait a day after surgery but I can’t quite remember. My issue is they gave me NO notice that they were prescribing me Vicodin. Vicodin and hydroxyzine can interact really dangerously because they both have sedating effects. I had to google myself if it was ok to take both. I asked my boyfriend and they didn’t even tell him (or me) I was being prescribed anything until after my surgery was done. So basically they gave me the go ahead to take hydroxyzine and Vicodin together. I could’ve ended up in the hospital for this. They did send me aftercare instructions through email before the consultation but

Dr. Tucker and all of his staff are amazing, so friendly, caring and comforting. I’ve been there to get teeth removed and to get implants and I would not go anywhere else. They chat back and forth during procedures which keeps you entertained and calm. That is important to anyone who may be nervous about being there. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Tucker and his staff were amazing. I had an adult wisdom tooth extraction, which I had many questions about. Dr. Tucker was patient, thorough, and consultative throughout the process. The final decision on how to proceed felt like a collaboration, not a dictation. I have a tremendous amount of respect for doctors who are able to quickly establish patient rapport. Oral surgery can be complex, and I would absolutely trust this team again and again. I highly recommend.

If you need an oral surgeon for dental implants or for surgical extraction of a tooth, I highly recommend Dr. Trent Tucker, MD, DDS. I'm what you might call a "highly experienced dental patient," as I've had a ton of dental procedures during my life, including many crowns and just a few implants, and I can say that Dr. Tucker is truly exceptional, first class and amazing. Of any and all dentists I've been to, Dr. Tucker has a special talent for being truly pain free. Even when he's injecting the local anesthetic I'm amazed that I don't even feel any part of the injection -- he definitely has a talent and skill for giving those shots. Likewise when I've had surgical extractions of teeth and the subsequent titanium dental implants, I've never felt any pain, nor even any discomfort. All of the staff are equally wonderful, Diane and Julie at the front office; dental technician Rhonda, plus all the others I've encountered but whose names I don't remember because I'm terrible with names. Everyone is super nice and very thoughtful, and I should also say this is true of Dr. Tucker too. He's really nice. So long as Dr. Tucker is here I wouldn't go anywhere else if I need an oral surgeon.

Dr. Tucker and staff are amazing! I have had two procedures and my partner has had one and throughout all the processes the staff has been wonderful. 5 stars!
